In accordance with changes in regulatory acts, from 28.12.2020, when purchasing alcoholic beverages on the Internet, it is necessary to confirm your identity and age with qualified means of secure electronic identification, such as Smart ID, eID card or eParaksts mobile, before payment.
When choosing Smart ID – you will need to select a country and enter your personal identification number. After that, a notification will appear on the smart device for which you have created a Smart ID account, about the need to confirm authentication with the PIN1 code.
You will need the full version of Smart ID with a qualified electronic signature for age verification.
It can be checked in the Smart ID application under “Menu” -> “User information” -> “Account level: Smart-ID qualified electronic signature”.
With the basic version of Smart ID, it is not possible to verify your identity and age.
When choosing eParakstos mobile, you will need to enter your eParakstos user code. After that, the smartphone’s e-signature in the mobile app will need to confirm authentication using a PIN code or biometric data.
Choosing an eID card – You will need to connect your eID card to your computer using an eID card reader. When using an eID card, you will first need to install the eSigner 3.0 computer program.

Right of Withdrawal and Right to Opt Out
The customer has the right to unilaterally exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the order, immediately informing AS Cēsu alus about its use. The right of refusal may be used as stipulated in regulatory acts, these Terms of Use and other applicable conditions issued by AS Cēsu alus. The customer is responsible for the costs associated with returning such orders.
AS Cēsu alus has the right to demand that the Customer, upon rejecting the product, must return it to AS Cēsu alus, Aldari laukuma 1, Cēsis or to the address indicated by an employee of AS Cēsu alus. The customer bears all costs associated with returning the goods.
When returning goods, they must be without any damage, in the original packaging, unopened, within the validity period +1 day. If the customer cannot meet these requirements, AS Cēsu alus reserves the right not to pay the customer money for the returned goods.
If the Customer has found after receiving the order that the product in the order is damaged and/or of poor quality, the Customer applies to AS Cēsu alus with an application, to which a photo of the damaged product is attached, and AS Cēsu alus will arrange the return of the money to the Customer’s account from which the purchase was made. AS Cēsu alus reserves the right to ask the Customer to return all damaged goods to the address indicated by an employee of AS Cēsu alus.
