The company Cēsu alus, implementing the annual charity campaign, prepared a gift for children in the care of Latvian social care centers, family support centers, children and youth centers, as well as SOS children’s villages. To welcome the start of a new school year, each child will receive sparkling lemonade “Limpanietis” and “Limpa” juice as a gift. A total of more than 5400 liters of soft drinks were donated in the Cēsu alus charity campaign.
Eva Sietiņsone, chairman of the Cēsu alus board: “Every year, celebrating the start of the school year, we send a greeting to the organizations that care for and support children throughout Latvia. We have identified the organizations and this year 3,752 children will receive the greeting. Peer support is very important, so we are grateful to everyone who selflessly provides support to children.”
In total, Cēsu alus sent greetings to 43 organizations that cared for children who were left without parental care or grew up in families at social risk – these are social care centers, youth homes, SOS children’s villages, family support centers and charitable organizations throughout Latvia. Cēsu alus has been implementing this charity campaign since 2018.
