AS Cēsu alus, the first novelty of this year in the beer category, will be available in February. The line of Cēsu Premium, the most popular and favorite beer brand in Latvia, has been supplemented with a new, unique beer variety – Cēsu Premium Red. It is characterized by a rounded, full taste with a sweet note of ruby-colored malt, maintaining the character of a traditional lager beer. The beer surprises with its expressive red color and beautiful, thick beer foam. High-quality raw materials and world-class brewing art ensure the excellent taste and high quality of beer. Investments in the amount of 70,000 euros have been made in the development of the Cēsu Premium Red beer brand.

This year we have invested in the development of our leading beer brand Cēsu Premium and our first novelty on the beer market is this unique red beer Cēsu Premium Red. By carefully selecting and testing different hops and types of malt, we chose a specially prepared ruby-colored malt for brewing. The red beer is more saturated, denser and full of flavor, with both a refreshing and caramelized, pleasantly sweet nuance. I hope that beer connoisseurs will appreciate it.”
Cēsu Premium is the strongest Cēsu alus brand, which has been the best-selling and most popular beer brand in Latvia in recent years. According to Nielsen data, in 2018, the Cēsu Premium line (including both glass and can packaging) accounted for 12% of the total volume of beer sold in Latvia. Beer lovers are now offered four Cēsu Premium beers: Cēsu Premium, Cēsu Premium Amber, Cēsu Premium Bohemian and the red beer Cēsu Premium Red.
